Type 20 obsolete civil war currency 1861 Very to Extra Fine
The type 20 examples of confederate money featured Industry between Cupid and a beehive, the beehive also symbolized industry, in the center vignette. At the right side was Hope leaning on an anchor, on the left was Alexander H. Stephens, the vice president of the confederacy during the Civil War. There were over 2.8 million of these bills produced, they are common in all grades except choice uncirculated. These were issued during the early part of the Civil War from Richmond Virginia and are dated September 02, 1861. I have more than one example of these type 20 confederate money so the one in the picture might not be the one you will recieve, but all will be in the same very fine to extra fine condition.
