Wyoming Motorcycle License Plates

Wyoming produced their first motorcycle license plate in the year 1917 and was in a 3 by 6 vertical format, this type of plate remained in production through around 1935. At this time a long skinny tag was introduced and this style was manufactured for many years until the state went with the normal size motorcycle tag. If you plan on using any of these license plates for year of manufacture on your antique Harley Davidson, BMW, Yamaha, Honda or any other classic WY motorcycle, you will first need to contact the Department of Motor Vehicles to see if they allow the use of license plates for YOM use on antique bikes.
