These are the Fluvanna county notes, Palmyra, Virginia issued in 1863 on the back of Bill of Exchange notes from H.T. Patro, Richmond, Virginia. Paper was very scarce in the south during the Civil War, so every scrap of paper that could be found was utilized for their currency. I have more than one example of this Virginia confederate money from Fluvanna County, so this might not be the actual note you recieve, but all are the same quality with the excellent centering.
