A Five Dollar Confederate Treasury Bill from the state of Virginia which was issued on March 13, 1862 from Richmond, VA and will grade uncirculated. The portrait in the center is Jonathon M. Bennett who was the public account auditor for Virginia. The right vignette is a large portrayal of the state seal of Virginia. The terms of this confederate money are as follows: The commonwealth of Virginia will pay Five Dollars on Demand to the bearer at the Treasury. The Faith of the Commonwealth is pledged and receivable in payment of taxes and other public debts. This is Criswell 13, which means the paper has no watermark.
