Type 69 & Type 70 Confederate Money
Type 69 and Type 70 are two of the low denominations of the common 7th series of CSA currency that was issued during the latter part of the Civil War on February 17, 1864. T-69 is the Five Dollar CSA bill that features the state capitol building of Virginia which is located in Richmond. T-70 confederate money is the two dollar denomination and is another and the last of Judah P. Benjamin 2.00 notes. Both issues of this confederate money are still common today, with the five dollar being the most common, these are a good place for collectors to start a beginning civil war paper money collection.
