Type 39, T-40, T-41 Confederate Money

This group of confederate money includes the ever popular train notes of T-39 and T-40. The type 39 is the train note with straight white steam from the train while the T-40 has the diffused steam. The type 41 features John C. Calhoun. All 3 of this issue of confederate money were high paying interest bearing notes, the Confederate States of America paid 7.3 percent interest on these bills, double that of the first interest bearing bills of 1861. This grouping of confederate money is also highly collectible for the treasury stamps that are located on the backs, some of these stamps are quite rare.
