Two Dollar Federal Reserve Notes

The Federal Reserve Notes in the denomination of two dollars are a recent entry into the FRN Bills, production didn't start until the Bicentennial year of 1976. Despite the efforts of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the two dollar bill doesn't circulate very well, there have only been need for four different series in the last 35 years, namely Series of 1976, 1995, 2003 and 2003A. Collecting the entire set of two dollar federal reserve notes would be fairly easy and cheap, you could even include the star notes in your collection at a reasonable cost. The fronts of the two dollar notes feature the bust of Thomas Jefferson, our 3rd President and the back shows the John Trumbull painting in a shortened version of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence.
