A very scarce type of Texas Confederate Money being the 100.00 Treasury Warrant and in Almost Uncirculated condition. This note was pen cancelled and there are ink stains from the cancel, also a couple pinholes, but still overall a very nice example of this type of scarce Texas Confederate Money. This note was appropriated under The Act of January 04, 1862 and issued on March 20, 1862 and was for military service. The full type on this Texas confederate money states the following, Treasury Warrant Appropriation 79 (?) Under Act of Jany 4, 1862 For Military service The Treasurer of the State of Texas will pay One Hundred Dollars to H. S. Graves or Bearer. This Texas Treasury Warrant is signed on the back by C. H. Randolph. A great piece of Texas Civil War Americana from the early days of the Rebellion.
