Austin, TX Treasury Warrant - July 29, 1862. Cr. TW11 Medlar UNL. Graded Extremely Fine. This Texas Treasury note has a classic image of George Washington with sword in the left margin. This obsolete treasury peice states that it is a Treasury Warrant Under Act of January 14, 1862 for Military Service. The Treasuerer of the State of Texas Will Pay Five Dollars To J.P Dumas (filled in name) or Bearer. Comptroller's Office, Austin, July 29, 1862.
