| A very nice choice Uncirculated Type 72 confederate money. There are full margins, corners and frame lines on this bill and a nice crisp dark print, there is one small pinhole. This note features a bust of Jefferson Davis in the center and is the last issue of confederate money for the CSA. Criswell has this as CR578 and Fricke as T72 PF1 which means it is the first series of the type 72 confederate money. The back is plain, as it cost the confederacy to much money to print a back on this low denomination, because this late in the Civil War, 50 cents was practically nothing, because of the raging inflation. The back is not shown, but is uncirculated like the front, there is a small printing wrinkle and a couple small ink spots. A very nice example of Type 72 Confederate Money.
