Confederate Money Type 72 featuring the bust of Jefferson Davis in the center of the note. This is Criswell variety 578 and the PF number is T72 PF1, which means that this is from the 1st series. The grade of this bill is uncirculated, it did not see any use during the civil war, however there are a couple pinholes and a thin spot in the paper. The printing on this note is almost choice, dark and crisp looking. The backs of type 72 confederate money were plain, I did not photograph this back, but it is as per grade, with a couple small age spots.
