A very good plus type 43 Judah P. Benjamin 2.00 confederate money. These notes are very rare in the upper conditions, you can expect to pay around 15 grand for a nice uncirculated bill, if you could even find one. So, most people have to settle for T-43s in the condition of this note. This is a nice looking note for the grade, the green overprint is still dark, there is good centering and no major faults. The worse drawback to this bill is numerous pinholes and a couple small apertures, which is common on these notes. The reason these notes are rare in the upper grades is there were only 194,900 printed and they were printed on a poor quality paper that did not wear well, so consequently not many are left in the better conditions.
