"The front of the Civil War era note has an image of a passenger train moving along railroad tracks with a group of people standing in the foreground, and a ship sailng in the background. On the left side is an image of a young woman holding a basket on her head. This Civil War tender states Six Months After the Ratification of a Treaty of Peace between the Confederate States and the United States. The Confederate States of America will pay One Hundred Dollars to Bearer with Interest at two cents per day.
