| The type 28 confederate currency featured Ceres, the Goddess of agriculture, and Commerce with an urn and was a 10.00 denomination bill. This issue of CSA currency was printed on September 2, 1861 from Richmond Virginia. These notes were of a poorer quality and the paper did not wear well, so therefore most of the examples of type 28 CSA obsolete money are well worn. These notes grade fine, but have good cuts and just show average wear, good looking examples for the lower grade. I have more than one of these types of confederate money, so the one in the picture might not be the one you recieve, but all are the same fine quality. |
