| This 100.00 confederate money features slaves loading cotton in the center vignette and a sailor leaning on an anchor at the left. This bill is from the 3rd series of the confederate government currency under the Act of August 19, 1861. These bills were produced in Richmond Virginia during the Civil War and are dated September 02, 1861. Approximately 607,000 were issued. This particular CSA note grades around extra fine and is choice in appearance but there is ink erosion in the signatures. |
