Condition
- This confederate money will grade fine - very fine. It has a nice cut, with full borders all around the edges. There is a slight stain in the middle fold mark.
Back
- Plain, an old time collector wrote in pencil Thick Paper C and also a couple other figures. Looks like hinge markings in the extreme corners. There are also fold marks visible as per grade.
Criswell & Fricke Numbers
- Criswell #25, Fricke # PF3. This means that for before Treasurer is printed and the paper used was thick bond paper. This is a slightly scarce variety of type 9 confederate money, the rarity scale is R2.

- This obsolete Civil War Currency was fundable in Confederate States stock bearing eight percent interest two years after date to the bearer
Notes
- This was the first 20.00 issued by the Confederacy that did not bear interest. The sailing vessel which is used in the center vignette was used by the North on many of their obsolete notes before the Civil War. The pictures show the front and back of the actual confederate money that is for sale.
