South Carolina Revenue Bond Scrip CR02 Ten Dollars PCGS 66

A ten dollar post civil war currency note issued by the Palmetto state on March 2, 1872, during the reconstruction era. This was one of South Carolina's answers to the federalization of the currency supply. This obsolete money from SC is fairly common, but this one is Gem Uncirculated and was professionally slabbed by PCGS at Gem New 66 with the premium paper quality notation, these are not as common in this lofty gem uncirculated condition.
