South Carolina Confederate Money Bank of the State fifty cents Fine

A nice example of South Carolina Confederate money from the Bank of the State which will grade fine and is from the rarer variety that was printed on watermarked paper. This note would grade much higher, but at one time it was mounted in an album by an old time collector and the hinge marks show, there are also several pinholes present, but sill overall an attractive example of this change scrip. The front has a palm tree and blue fifty cents overprints. The back has the red fifty overprint along with Issued under Act February 1863.
