The Bank of America from Providence Rhode Island was open from the years 1851 to 1890 and was then merged with The Bank of America Loan and Trust Co. This one dollar obsolete money from said bank is professionally graded by PMG at choice uncirculated 64 with the EPQ designation, which stands for excellent paper quality. Even though this is a remainder and not dated, it is from the 1860 period, so this currency would have been in use during the Civil War period. The currency issued by this bank is not so common, there are a lot of denominations and dates of bills that no longer exist. The picture shows the actual union RI obsolete money that is for sale.
