Rhode Island Obsolete 10.00 New England Commercial Bank PMG 64

The New England Commercial Bank of Rhode Island opened its doors in 1818 and after almost 100 years in business, closed in 1914. This 10.00 currency from said bank was professionally graded by PMG at Choice Uncirculated 64 with the EPQ designation, which stands for excellent paper quality. New Port was the place of issue, even though this is a remainder and was never fully issued or dated, it is from the period of the 1860s so would have been used by the residents of Rhode Island during the Civil War era. I have more than one example of this RI union civil war money, so the one in the picture might not be the one you recieve, but all are the same PMG 64 EPQ grade and all with full frame lines.
