OH Change Note Set dated 1862


Type of Confederate Money - A set of shinplaters from the state of Ohio as printed during the Civil War era. This set includes the nickel, dime, quarter and half dollar change notes payable on Summit County Bank.
Nickname or Vignettes - The nickel note has a large eagle with outspread wings on the left, the tint is blue, the dime bill has a train scene showing the train going up a steep mountain, the tint is green, the quarter note has a large buck deer with a purple tint and the half dollar note has patriotic scene and is tinted green.
Date & Place of Issue - Cuyahoga Falls Ohio in 1862, but these bills were never issued.
Serial Number & Plate Letter - Remainder
Condition - All the bills are in nice uncirculated condition
Back - The backs are plain, these are as per grade.
