Type of Obsolete Money - Fractional Currency notes from the Village of Rondout New York from the Civil War era.
Nickname or Vignettes - Each of the 4 notes has a different vignette and each is a different color, which makes this a very attractive grouping.
Date & Place of Issue - October 1, 1862 from Rondout New York
Serial Number & Plate Letter - The 5 cent note has a very low serial number of 4, the 10 cents has no number, 25 cents is 4007 and the fifty cents bill has the serial number of 2192. All the numbers are printed by machine in a dark bright red ink.
Condition - This group of notes will average uncirculated, all have been punch cancelled.
Back - The backs are all plain and as per grade
