New Jersey obsolete civil war currency .15 City of Newark VF

This is the green tinted version of the fifteen cent Union scrip from the City of Newark New Jersey. A very nicely done example of obsolete civil war currency and was made by the Union Bank Note Company. The date is October 1, 1862 and the grade is very fine. The back is plain and this one has hinge marks from an old time collector. The picture shows the actual example of New Jersey Civil War Currency that is for sale.
