New Hampshire License Plates
| New Hampshire began issuing license plates in 1905. Porcelain plates were issued from 1905 thru 1918 with the exception of the year 1912. Starting with the porcelain issues about all the years of NH license plates have been green and white with few exceptions. Slogans used by this state have been Scenic, Photoscenic, (one year only) and of course, the "Live Free or Die" which has been in use since 1971. Even though New Hampshire is a low population state, there are no plates which qualify as rare and the complete set of plates is fairly easy and cheap to assemble. |
