Mississippi Obsolete Currency Planters Bank One Hundred Dollars 1833 Fine

A one hundred dollar banknote from the Planters Bank which was located in Natchez Mississippi. The issue date is November 21, 1833 and was presented for payment in June 1844, which is what I believe is written across the face of the note in blue ink. This obsolete southern currency features small portraits of Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson. It is hard to believe, but Thomas Jefferson hadn't been dead very long when this bill was produced. it isn't often you can buy southern obsolete currency for less than face value, but here is you chance. Grade is fine with edge roughness and a large, probably cancel punch in the lower left 100.
