Mississippi Confederate Money CR22 One Dollar Treasury F-VF

Jackson, MS - State of Mississippi Cotton Pledge $1.00 Dated Nov. 1, 1862. A green overprint is found on this attractive Cotton Pledged note with areas of bold emobossing. Graded Fine to Very Fine. This confederate money has two vignettes of farmers at work on the edges of this obsolete note and a train etching is in the center of this CSA Mississippi treasury note. This one dollar banknote states that "The State of Mississippi will pay to bearer the sum of One Dollar out of proceeds of Cotton Pledged for Redemption of this note, at the Treasurer's Office in Jackson, Mississippi.
