Massachusetts Union Scrip Nashawannuck Mfg CO ten cents

A nice very fine example of Massachusetts civil war scrip that was from the Nashawannuck Manufacturing Company in the 1860s and was to be drawn upon the Holyoke Bank. This is a nice change note, with green overall tint and a fancy green design in the center of the note. The terms are as follows: Holyoke Bank pay to the bearer when presented in sums of even dollars ten cents, Nashawannuck Mfg Co and then signed by E. H. Sawyer who was the treasurer of said company.
