Louisiana Confederate Money Parish of Iberville 50 cents Very Fine

A nice parish note from the Parish of Iberville that was issued from Plaquemine, LA during the early part of the Civil War on January 20, 1862. The grade of this LA parish note is very fine, there. This obsolete currency states that the Parish of Iberville will pay to bearer on demand at the treasurer's office, the sum of fifty cents when demanded in sums of ten dollars and signed by the president of the Police Jury and the treasurer. This confederate money has a fancy back with a lot of black geometric figures covering the entire back.
