Rare Obsolete KY Civil War Scrip

A piece of rare Kentucky Scrip from the Danville, Lancaster and Nicholasville Turnpike that was issued during the War of the Rebellion in 1862. This piece will grade very good, but it might be a long time before another one of these comes along. The paper is worn and also a couple small apertures out of the edges, but still a nice note for your Kentucky Obsolete Money collection. The serial number is 68 and the vignette is of a train. The note says the following: This will be recieved for tolls in the Danville, Lancaster, and Nicholasville Turnpike, redeemable in current funds, at the Northern Bank of Kentucky at Lexington, when the amount of Five Dollars is presented. November 10, 1862, L. H. Chrisman Treasurer. 10 cents. A couple of the words are small and hard to see, but I believe this is what the note states. Most of the Kentucky scrip notes are rare and this one is no exception. In the Kentucky reference this confederate money is rated at rarity 7, which means that there are estimated to only be 1 to 5 of these bills in exsistance. The pictures show the front and back of the actual Kentucky Civil War Scrip that is for sale.
