Illinois Obsolete Currency IL and MI Canal Ten Dollars 1842 Very Fine CC

An early piece of Illinois obsolete currency for the IL and Michigan Canal Fun and was for work done on said canal from the Board of Commissioners. This paper money was issued on February 1, 1842 from Lockport, Illinois and grades very fine and is cut cancelled. you are almost getting two notes as this was printed on the backs of old State Bank of Illinois notes and there is almost a complete on the back, which is shown in the photograph gallery.
