Confederate money from the Georgia treasury as issued from Milledgeville. This note is almost uncirculated and not far from choice, with excellent centering and full frame line all around the confederate money. According to the new Georgia reference this note is Type 2, which means the Georgia treasury seal is on the front of the note, it is a 10.00 bill and issued on January 15th 1862. T. J. Bloodworth and Jno Jones signed this particular example of confederate money. Ceres is in the center holding grain, the back is plain. There are remnants of mounting on the back of this note, but not visible from the front. The picture shows the actual piece of Georgia Treasury Confederate money that is for sale, you can also view the back by going to the picture gallery. There were 54,000 pieces of this confederate money printed and the rarity is R1, which means over 500 pieces exsist today.
