Confederate Money from the Georgia Treasury issued from Milledgeville, during the Civil War on February 1st, 1863. This note grades very fine to extra fine. This confederate money note is a rarer error type, it is Type 21F, which means that it has no treasury seal on the back. The rarity scale is R6, which means that there are 76 to 100 still in exsistance today. This type of confederate money from the 1863 Georgia issue featured the Georgia State Arms in the center surrounded by a coiled rattlesnake and at the left end is a portrait of Governor Joseph E. Brown. T. J. Bloodworth signed this note as Comptroller General and Jno Jones signed as treasurer. The regular issues of this 100.00 confederate money has the black Georgia treasury seal on the back.
