Delaware Motorcycle License Plates

The state of Delaware issued the first motorcycle license plate in the year 1913. This year and the next, 1914 were of the long vertical type of tags that were designed to fit on the fenders of the antique motorcycles. The years 1914 and 15 were made out of porcelain. Delaware motorcycle tags are quite expensive and the early ones are very rare, there aren't supposedly any known to exist from several years during the decade of the 1920s. Even the later years of DE cycle plates are more expensive than most of the other US bike tags.
