This obsolete civil war currency is from the City Bank of New Haven from the state of Connecticut and is the 10.00 denomination. While this is a remainder and was not fully issued it dates from around the 1860 period, the eve of the beginning of the Civil War period. At the top of this obsolete CT bill are busts of Benjamin Franklin and George Washington, at the right is a portrait of President James Buchanan.
