1999 Illinois License Plates Pony Express

This set of Illionis passenger license plates were issued in 1999 by the state Department of Motor Vehicles and grades in Near Mint condition. These license plates are special issues, commemorating the Lions Club's 19th Annual Mt. Zion Pony Express Days, as mentioned on these tags. The color of the tags are blue and have white and burgundy lettering. There is a sillhouette of a Pony Express on a galloping horse on the left side with the dates of August 19-22, 1999 below. The Lions Club emblem in the center next to the DMV number of 57. The top of the plate has 19 ILLINOIS 99 with LAND OF LINCOLN printed at the bottom with the expiration date of 8/22. The state of Illinois issued both front and rear tags in the issue year of '99, and the tags in the photo are the actual ones that are available for sale.
