1991 Illinois License Plates Boy Scouts

A pair of unused 1991 Illinois special event license plates which will grade near mint. This set of special event tags were to commemorate the Ulysses S. Grant Boy Scout Pilgimage which was held at Galena on April 26 thu 28. The color of these tags is white with red and black letters, 1991 Illinois is at the top, thru the middle is written, Ulysses S. Grant, Boy Scout Pilgimage, Galena April 26-28. At the bottom is the slogan Land of Lincoln. Special event tags can be used in the state of Illinois for 60 days. The original card is also with these, they could be run from Feb 27 thru April 28, 1991.
