1987 South Dakota License Plates

These vehicle license plates were issued by the South Dakota Department of Motor Vehicles in 1987 and have a grading of New Old Stock in Near Mint quality. The color of these older model car tags in white with red and blue lettering and features an image of Mount Rushmore in the bottom right corner. At the top of these vehicle plates is the year 1987, below that is the DMV issue number, and at the bottom is the state name with 1889-1989 which denoted the state's upcoming sentential. The state of South Dakota issued both front and rear tags in 1987 and the photo above shows that actual SD car tags for sale.
