The color is white with red letters, the slogan Land Of Lincoln is at the top and at the bottom is the state name and date. These are on a very thin metal like the passenger auto tags. The DMV registration number will vary and this cycle plate might be elgible for year of manufacture or YOM use, but check the laws before purchasing for YOM purpose. The excellent example is the one shown in the picture, the very good minus example, while unused, it shows a good bit of surface rust and probably not good enough condition for YOM use, but would be good in an Illinois motorcyle plate collection.
