1963 Washington DC License Plates

This set of passenger vehicle license plates was manufactured by Washington DC DMV in 1963 and are graded in Very Good Plus condition. The color of these classic car tags are cream with deep green printing and say 331 NATION'S CAPITAL 63 at the top with the DMV registration number of AR-196 in the center, and DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA printed along the bottom. The Washington DC Department of Motor Vehicles issued both front and rear license plates in 1963 and the photo shows the actual passenger plates that are for sale.
