1961 Texas Truck License Plates

This front and rear TX DMV issued set of Truck license plates was produced in 1961 and are graded as New Old Stock in Excellent Condition, with only a light streak of rust at the very bottom edge. The background of these Texas pickup plates are white with black lettering and lists TEXAS 61 at the top and has TRUCK stamped at the bottom, with the DMV issued number which varies since we have more than one set of these classic Texas truck tags available for purchase. A black lone star separates the registration number on each of these tags. Because we carry more than one of this same issue of Texas truck tags in our inventory the photograph above is not necessarily the actual 1961 Texas truck tags that you will receive, though all are of the same NOS Excellent quality. Texas does allow the use of antique license plates for yom or year of manufacture usage, this means you can purchase the year of license plates and put on the same corresponding year of automobile. But before using these tags for year of manufacture purposes, you need to check wtih the Texas DMV to see if these are allowable.
