A pair of 1961 license plates from the Cornhusker State which will grade very good minus. The color is black with dark yellow lettering, NEBRASKA 1960 is at the top, The Beef State is at the bottom along with the sticker of 1961. The state of Nebraska started using the slogan The Beef State on their license plates in the year 1956, which is the same year that the state also went to the standard sized license plates as mandated by the federal government. While these plates do have their faults, the 1961 stickers aren't that common on the base 1960 plates and these have stickers on both plates.
