1961 Maryland License Plates

A nice pair of 1961 Maryland license plates for a passenger automobile. These antique MD tags will grade very good, with some slight flaws and minor rusting at the edges. The color is a strange combination in the license plate world, the background is a light green with black lettering. The state name Maryland is at the top and at the bottom is Exp. 3 - 31 - 61. Even thought there are some slight flaws these could probably still be used as year of manufacture tags on your classic 1961 automobile. But before purchasing for YOM use, please check with the Maryland DMV to see if these would do for year of manufacture purposes. The registration number of this classic set is DB - 97 - 34.
