1961 Georgia License Plate

This pristine license plate was issued by the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicles in 1961 and will grade in Very Good Plus condition. Early Georgia license plates in this good of a condition are rare to find these days. This car tag has a yellow background with black lettering and has the state name at the top with the DMV registration number of 8-J-12066 in the center. The bottom of this plate has half the issue year in either corner with PEACH STATE printed in the center. The state of Georgia issued single tags in the 1961 year of manufacture and the photo above shows the actual 1961 passenger tags that are for sale.
