| West Virginia license plate from 1960 which grades very good plus to excellent. The car tags from WV in 1960 are harder to find in the better grades such as this one, they were made out of aluminum and they did not hold up very well. These license plates have WEST VIRGINIA and the date 1960 at the bottom and the color is white with red lettering. I have more than one of these 1960 West Virginia license plates, so the one pictured might not be the one you receive, but all are very good plus to excellent in quality.Some of the new car models introduced during the year of 1960 were the Chevrolet Corvair, Ford Falcon, Mercury Comet, Plymouth Valiant and the Dodge Polara. For car buyers wanting foreign made models they could buy the Saab 96, Volvo P1800, Ferrari 400 and the Nissan Datsun. Edsel stopped production of the Edsel after a disastrous 3 years of manufacture. The corvette finally broke the 10,000 unit barrier and the 1960 Corvette was featured on the TV show Route 66. All weather anti freeze is introduced with coolant. |
