All I have left of this listing of 1957 Virginia license plates are a set in very good plus condition. The tags are unused, but the paint was put on weakly when manufactured by the state of Virginia. The tags have a yellowish tint instead of bright white, there are also some scuff marks around the edges and light rust. These would still be suitable for Year of Manufacture purposes, but before purchasing for this purpose check with the VA DMV, as I can not guarantee their use for this purpose. The group of license plates from 1957 that I had in excellent condition are all gone at this time, so do not go by the picture that is showing, but this very good plus pair is about 30.00 cheaper.
