West Virginia license plate from 1954 in very good plus condition. The color is black with yellow lettering, the bottom has W. Va. Exp. 6-30-54. The state of West Virginia issued their license plates as singles in the year of 1951,these are also from the black with yellow lettering, West Virginia made the 1954 license plates in both sets of colors, the reason being they did not produce any license plates in 1955 and also changed their expiration system. I have more than one of these 1954 West Virginia license plates, but all are the same very good plus quality.
