1949 Ohio License Plates

This set of Ohio automotive license plates was issued by the state Department of Motor Vehicles in 1949 and are in Very Good condition. What is interesting about these Ohio tags is that they are made from a waffle type of aluminum, and are lightweight. In yellow printing the classic license plate displays the DMV number C-478 with the year of 1949 and the state name below.
