1949 Michigan Motorcycle License Plate

A rare New Old Stock 1949 Michigan motorcycle license plate. I am fairly sure that this tag was not ever used, regardless it still grades very good plus with just a couple small spots of rust. The color is black with white letters and MICH and 49 are both located at the top. This is a small motorcycle license plate, it only measures 2 inches wide by 4 3/4 inches long. I believe that Michigan does have a year of manufacture law, so this could probably be used on your antique Harley Davidson, but if you plan on using this for YOM purposes, please check with the Department of Motor Vehicles to see if this plate qualifies for YOM use. The DMV registration number of this tag bike tag is 12592.
