1947 New Mexico License Plate

An antique 1947 New Mexico passenger automobile license plate which is NOS and will grade near mint. The color of this NM car tag is salmon with yellow letters. At the top is the slogan The Land of Enchantment and at the bottom is New Mexico. The Zia symbol is used in the center between the DMV registration number. This is the first year that New Mexico used the county numbering system on their license plates.
