1942 Tennessee License Plates

A good solid set of used Tennessee license plates for a passenger automobile. These will grade very good minus, they are still good solid plates, however there is a small tear at one of the upper bolt holes. These license plates which are shaped like the state of Tennessee are very collectible. Due to a federal law around 1957 all license plates throughout the Union had to be a standard size, so no more tags like these were allowed to be manufactured by the different states. These are also World War II collectibles as they were produced during the beginning of WWII. The color is white with black lettering, TENN and 42 are at the bottom. The registration number of this antique set is 7 - 7295.
